REQUIREMENT OF CIVIL, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS & FINANCE OFFICERS ON DEPUTATION /CONTRACT / RE-EMPLOYMENT BASIS.
This is with reference to this office aforesaid advertisement dated 25.09.13 calling applications for 10 different level positions in Civil, Electrical, Signal & Telecom and Finance Department. No applicant has pre-qualified for Interview against the above advertisement.
To meet with the urgent requirement of experienced personnel for posting for DMRC’s Monorail and High Speed Rail Link at Thiruvananthpuram (Kerala) and DMRC office at Kozhikode, applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and motivated Civil, Electrical Engineers and Finance officers at various levels with relevant Railway Experience.
The appointment shall be on deputation/contract /re-employment basis (in regular pay scale with other benefits) for 2 years initially.

Serving Officers in Railways who are above the age of 58 years can also apply for the above post on re-employment basis. They will be inducted for 2 years on re-employment terms or till the age of 65 (whichever is earlier). The last pay drawn (Basic + DA) will be protected and annual increments will also be allowed.
Qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech or Equivalent in Civil Engineering & Electrical Engineering and CA/ICWA (for finance) except for IRAS/ Railway Accounts officers.
Experience:
For GM level
Group-A Officers working in Sr. Administrative Grade of Rs. 37400-67000 (Grade pay-Rs. 10,000/-) are eligible to apply.
PSU officers working in E8 i.e. IDA pay scale Rs. 51300-73000 are eligible to apply.
PSU officers working in E7 i.e IDA pay scale Rs.43200-66000, with 5 years service are also eligible to apply for GM level, only on deputation basis.
For DGM level:
Group-A Officers working in Senior Scale in grade Rs. 15600-39100 (Grade pay-Rs.7600) or Rs. 37400-67100 (Grade pay-Rs.8700) are eligible to apply.
PSU officers working in E4 level i.e. IDA pay scale Rs.29100-54500. Officers in E5, E6 & E7 are also eligible to apply.
PSU officers working in E3 i.e IDA pay scale Rs.24900-50500, with 4 years service are also eligible to apply for DGM level (only on deputation basis)
For Manager (Civil):
Group-A/Grade-B Officers working in Sr. Scale i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 (Grade Pay-Rs. 6600/-) are eligible to apply.
PSU Officers working in E3, i.e. IDA pay scale Rs.24900-50500.
PSU officers working in E2 i.e IDA pay scale Rs.20600-46500, with 5 years service are also eligible to apply for Manager level (only on deputation basis)

Should be in CDA grade of Rs.5200-20200 (Grade pay Rs.2400) or equivalent IDA grade.

Mode of Selection: Names of short listed candidates along with interview schedule will be put up on our website by or on 10/12/13. We intend calling about 05 times the number of candidates than the number of vacancies based on the experience or percentage of overall marks in degree. The interview will be held tentatively from 17/12/13. The selection process will consist of Paragraph Writing & Interview.
