Applications are invited in the format prescribed for the
University Research Fellowship for the following Departments


Eligibility : Candidates who have passed the Post Graduate degree of this University or of
 any other University in Tamil Nadu to have obtained a minimum 55% of marks
 in their respective subject. However, the minimum eligible marks to have obtained
 SC/ST Candidates is 50%.
Duration : Two years and extendable for the 3rd year, if necessary.
 Stipend : Rs.4,000/- per month with Contingency of Rs.5,000/- per year for URF Mode
of Selection : By written test, interview if necessary.
GENERAL INFORMATION :
1. Application form can be obtained from the Registrar by sending a crossed Demand
Draft for Rs.200/- (SC/ST candidates are eligible to have one application at free of
cost) drawn in favour of The Registrar, Periyar University, Salem-11, payable at
Salem with a self addressed envelope (25cmx12cm) stamped to the value of Rs.40/-
The SC/ST candidates to be enclosed an attested copy of permanent community
certificate and PG provisional certificate or degree certificate or mark statement of all
the semester.
2. The University reserves the right to select or not to select the applicants for URF.
3. Applications filled to be made only in the form prescribed by the University

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
8. Interested candidates may submit their applications together with all the
testimonials in support of qualification & experience, a recent passport size
photograph and a demand draft of Rs. 100.00 only, payable to CPPRI,
Saharanpur, within a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this
advertisement, to Director, Central Pulp & Paper Research Institute, Post
Box No. 174, and Saharanpur-247 001(UP). SC/ST/ Physically
handicapped/Woman candidate are not required to send any demand draft.
The envelope containing the application should be super-scribed with the post
applied for.
9. Application duly signed should contain all the details i.e. Post applied for,
Name & father’s/husband’s name, date of birth, nationality, Sex
(male/female), category (SC/ST/OBC/PH), Addresses permanent &
correspondence with mail i.d. & phone No., Educational qualification with
name of Exam passed, Board/University, year of passing, Division &

10. Numbers of post mentioned in the advertisement are subject to change in
future, according to the requirement of the institute.
11. Mere fulfilling the criteria of qualification & experience does not confer any
right of attending the interview to any candidate. Institute may fix-up any bar
for short-listing the candidates to be called for interview depending upon the
applications received. Further, the engagement of any candidate on selection
to any of the above post is purely temporary on contractual basis till the
completion of the relevant project subject to satisfactory performance of the
candidate and it does not confer any right/claim whatsoever, either explicitly
or implicitly on the appointee, for extension to the engagement so offered, or
for regular appointment in CPPRI against any post or otherwise under any
legal conditions or precedent.
12. The date for determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall
be the closing date for submitting the application as notified in the
advertisement.
13. Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates in support of educational and professional
qualifications conferred/awarded by the University/Board/Institution
constituted through an Act of Central or State Govt. or recognized by the
Central or State Govt. /UGC for this purpose will only be considered. In case
a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent qualification as
per the requirement of advertisement, then the candidate is required to furnish
order/letter in this regard, indicating the Authority(with number and date)
under which it has been so treated.
14. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

COMMON MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST (CMAT)- 2014-15 (SECOND TEST)

• AICTE conducts National Level Common Management
Admission Test (CMAT) twice a year for facilitating
institutions to select suitable students for admission in
management programmes approved by AICTE.
• This notification is issued to announce the schedule for
conducting Second Test of Common Management
Admission Test (CMAT) for admission for academic year
2014-15.
• The candidates who have already appeared in CMAT
(First Test) may also appear for Second Test and better of
two scores will be used for admission for 2014-15.

• Graduates in any discipline or Final year students of
Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared
before commencement of admission for 2014 can apply
for CMAT online.

 Registration

• Online from 1st November, 2013 to 2nd January, 2014 on
website www.aicte-cmat.in
• Choice of 3 dates and 3 cities of India for online examination
in the order of preference.
• Allotment will be based on first come first served. Actual
allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots in
a particular city.

• The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective
State Governments for allotting the students through central
