EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION NO:05/2013

Applications in the prescribed format are invited for filling up the
following posts in the National Institute of Siddha, on Deputation/contract
basis:

1. Name of the Post: Professor – (3 Posts)

Kuzhandhai Maruthuvam -1 Post –On Deputation/Contractual Basis
Noi Naadal -1 Post -On Deputation/Contractual Basis
Nanju Noolum Maruthva Needhi Noolum -1 Post- On Deputation/Contractual
Basis

For Deputation :

a. Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.8700/- +NPA. The
deputation will be governed by DOPT’s OM No.2/29/91-(Pay-II) dt 5.1.1994 as
amended from time to time.

b. Educational Qualification & Experience
(i). PG qualification in Siddha in the concerned subject recognized by the CCIM.

(ii) 5 Years regular service in the Pay Scale of 15600-39100+7600 OR its
equivalent as Reader /Associate Professor OR incumbent is holding analogous
post in the Same Pay Scale

C. Maximum age Limit: 56 Years as on 12.11.2013

For Contractual Basis:

a. Consolidated pay Rs.55,000/- p.m.

b. Educational Qualification & Experience:
i. Faculty members who already worked as Professor in the Departments
concerned in PG education: OR i) PG qualification in Siddha in the concerned subject
recognized by CCIM ii) 7 years as Reader (Associate Professor) in PG teaching in the
concerned subject or 12 yrs combined experience in PG teaching in the subject
concerned (as Reader /Associate Professor/Asst. Professor) and Research and Admn.

Desirable:
1. Ph.D in Siddha
2. Extensive experience in Research /Admn
3. Working knowledge in Tamil & English

c. Maximum Age limit: 64 years as on 12.11.2013.


General Instructions: [For appointment on Deputation basis]

1. The recruitment/ appointment of the candidates in the Institute is governed
by the NIS Service Rules 2004.


2. Candidates must have not attained the maximum age prescribed against
each post. Age relaxation is applicable to various categories as per
Government of India orders issued from time to time


3. The persons working in the Central / State Govt./UTs/PSUs/Statutory or
autonomous bodies and applying for the posts should submit their
applications only through proper channel.

4. The number of vacancies indicated is provisional and may vary at the
discretion of the Competent Authority.

5. Mere fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not
vest any right to candidate for being called for Interview.

6. The Institute reserves the right to cancel or modify this notification without
assigning any reason and not to fill up any / all post (s).

7. The Institute reserves the right to shortlist candidates depending upon the
no. of vacancies and application received etc.


8. The Institute reserves the right to call for interview such of those
candidates, who in its opinion, are found to be eligible. No
correspondence in this regard will be entertained from the candidates.

9. For deputation posts, persons working in the Central / State
Govt./UTs/PSUs/Statutory or autonomous bodies only will be considered.

10. The persons working in the Central / State Govt./UTs/PSUs/Statutory or
autonomous bodies and applying for posts should submit their application
through proper channel along with up-to date duly certified CR Dossiers
of the last five years along with disciplinary/ vigilance clearance. They
should also submit a certificate from the employer to the effect that the
particulars furnished by the officer are correct as per the record held in the
office and no case is pending or contemplated against him/her.

11. No traveling allowance is admissible to the candidates to attend for
Interview.

12. The cost of application is Rs.100/-. Application format is to be downloaded
from our website, www.nischennai.org and the filled in application along
with the application fee of Rs.100/- by way of demand draft drawn in
favour of “Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium,
Chennai – 600 047 should be received in this Institute on or before
12.11.2013 (5.00PM). SC/ST candidates are exempted from application
fee and they should produce self attested copy of the community
certificate from the competent authority along with the application form to
claim for application fee exemption.

13. The filled in application, complete in all respects should be submitted to
the Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai
– 600 047 with self attested photocopies of the certificates in support of
age proof, educational qualification and experience etc

14. Applicants should clearly write the Name of the Post, Advt, No on the top
of the envelope in BOLD LETTERS.

15. Incomplete applications and those received after the due date and also
such applications which are not supported with self attested photocopies
of certificates and testimonials are liable to be rejected.

16. Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.


Terms and conditions [for appointment on Contractual basis]

1. The appointment is purely on contract basis for a period of one year or till the
regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier. However the appointment can be
terminated at any time on either side by giving one month’s notice or by paying one
month’s salary without assigning any reason.

2. The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefit like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical
Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc or any other benefits as admissible
to the regular Government servants. Non practicing allowance is not admissible.

3. The appointee shall not be granted any claim or right for regular appointment in the
Institute.

4. Only consolidated salary will be admissible. No other allowances as applicable to
Central Government Servants shall be admissible.

5. The appointment in the Institute is on whole time basis and the appointee shall not
accept any other appointment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself
in private practice of any kind during the period of contract.

6. The National Institute of Siddha reserves the right not to fill any or all the posts
without assigning any reason. The number of vacancies shown is only tentative.

7. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview

8. The filled in application duly affixed with a recent passport size photograph should
reach the Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai –
600 047 on or before 12.11.2013

9. If any declaration or information furnished by the candidate proves to be false or If
he/she is found to have willfully suppressed an material information he/she will be
liable to removal from service and also such other action as the Government may
deem necessary.

10. Application incomplete in any respect or received after the due date will be

NOTIFICATION


Application are invited for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the District
Cooperative Central Bank Ltd., Khammam from suitable candidates who possess the
following qualifications.

I. The person shall preferably be below 55 years on or 01.10.2013.

II. As per fit and proper criteria the person to be appointed as CEO shall possess either of
the following.
a) Graduate with CAIIB/DBF/Diploma in Cooperative Business Management, PGDCRS
or equivalent qualification, or
b) Chartered or cost accounts or
c) Post Graduate in any discipline.

III. EXPERIENCE: The person shall have at least 8 (Eight) years work experience in
the Middle Management in Banking section i.e., AGM of DCC
Bank or Manager in APCOB or Scale II in a Commercial Bank
above would be considered as eligible.

IV. SCALE OF PAY: 36200-1000/2-38200-1100/2-40400 (No stagnation increments)
Plus allowances as applicable.
