Central Power Research Institute is a Centre for applied Research in Electrical Power
Engineering assisting the Utilities in technical evaluation and quality assurance. The
Institute requires personnel for the following position purely on temporary basis for a
period of One year (extendable) to carry out Power System Studies like Loadflow, Short
Circuit and Stability Studies:

1. Name of the Post : Project Associate

3. Requirement : ME/BE in Electrical Engineering from a
 recognized University (ME preferred)

4. Desirable : Candidates familiar with Power System Studies like
 Load flow, short circuit and stability studies will have
 an added advantage

 software

6. Emoluments : Rs.16000/- per month + HRA

7. Maximum age limit: 30 years

8. Tenure : One Year and extendable for another year based on
 their performance.

The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune [NCRA] of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research [TIFR] [an autonomous institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India] is an internationally reputed research institute. NCRA-TIFR is located inside the Pune University Campus. NCRA is on the lookout for a highly motivated, dynamic and suitably qualified Administrative Officer-C for its Centre at Pune.

Qualification & ExperienceEssential: 1) Graduate with 60% marks 2) Diploma in Management 3) Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications 4) Minimum 5 years experience in the Grade Pay 4200/4600/4800 or equivalent level of responsibility in a large and reputed organization.

Desirable: 1) Post Graduate / Master’s Degree in Management with specialization in personnel/Human resources.  2) Experience in dealing with administrative and establishment matters, Government of India rules and procedures, and its application in respect of service matters.  The candidate should be conversant with rules / regulations government contracts / procurement 3) Candidates should be self-driven, highly motivated, and have excellent leadership skills along with oral & written communication skills.

Age: Below 43 years (inclusive of relaxation).

Last date for receipt of the applications: 15th November 2013.  Age & experience will be reckoned as on 1st July 2013.  TME: Total Monthly Emoluments, reflects Pay+GP+DA (presently 90%). HRA, transport and other allowances. PB: Pay Band & GP: Grade Pay.  Candidates are liable to be transferred to other Centres/ Field Stations of the institute.

General Information: i)  The institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
