IIM, Lucknow, Three Year (Part-Time) Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives

The Working Managers' Programme As part of the mission of NOIDA campus, in July 2005 IIM Lucknow launched the Three Year (Part Time) Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives, also popularly known as Working Managers’ Programme (WMP). The Ninth batch would commence on 27th June, 2013.  The WMP is a uniquely designed programme for working executives, entrepreneurs and professionals, who desire to enhance their managerial knowledge and skills through formal management education, while continuing to work full time in their ongoing professions / businesses. The programme is structured to meet the learning needs and methodologies of those who continue to work, and engage in formal education simultaneously. The programme is designed to maintain the high standards and rigour expected from all post graduate programmes in management at IIM Lucknow. It aims at developing strong conceptual fundamentals and skills required to mange businesses of the future. The WMP aims to help to inculcate leadership and teamwork amongst participants, and foster the development of change agents to take leadership roles in the global area. The 27 months programme has over thirty credits worth of courses which must be successfully completed. The specific objectives of the programme are to enable the executives to: Comprehend the meaning of socio-economic, technological and ecological environment of modern societies and their characteristic values; Acquire the prevailing state-of-art knowledge and skills in the functional areas of management; Develop analytical and innovative foresight to gauge change holistically, and to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of business systems; Value societal well being and the responsibility of corporate citizens. Diploma Students would be awarded the "Post Graduate Diploma in Management for Working Executives" on successful completion of the Programme.

DOCTORS – (Minimum MBBS and registered with MCI)  Rs.1000 per day for two hours.

NURSE –     (Diploma Holder) Rs. 750 per day.

PGT Physics/Chemistry/Maths/Biology/Computer Science/Hindi/English  (POST GRADUATE TEACHERS) , Qualification –  Master Degree in Concerned subjects with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.  ( Maximum  five periods  per day)

TGT Science/Social Science/Mathematics/English/Hindi/Sanskrit   (TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHERS), Qualification – Four years integrated degree course or Regional Colleges of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate , OR Second Class Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) and in aggregate including electives and languages in the combination of subject.   (Maximum five periods  per day)

Primary Teachers (in all subjects), Qualification – Senior Secondary ( Class XII ) with 50% marks – JBT -  after Senior Secondary ( Class XII ) OR B.Ed OR equivalent OR B.EI.Ed. (II) Competence to teach through Hindi and English media.  ( Maximum five periods  per day)

Computer Instructor for Primary and Secondary :  .E/B.Tech (Computer Sci.)/BCA/MCA/ M.Sc (computer Sci./ M. Sc. (Electronics with computer Sci. Component/ M.Sc. (Computer Sci.) Spoken English/ Hindi for Primary  upto class VIII : Graduation with English as one of the main subject at graduation level and a certificate /diploma in spoken English covering program of not less than six months duration.  (Maximum five periods per day)

Vocational Skills – Instrumental Music/Classical or  Contemporary Dance, Games and Sports - Football/ Basket ball/ Hockey/ Kho Kho/ Chess/Karate - University Degree with recognized diploma in concerned subjects  (Maximum five periods per day)

 The candidates should bring alongwith them original certificates alongwith photocopies of the same and one passport size photograph.
