RITES requires dynamic and result oriented experienced Civil Engineering professionals for
engagement on CONTRACT basis for its upcoming Highway related project in India and
abroad. The appointment shall be purely on contract basis initially for a period of one year,
extendable until completion of the assignment based on satisfactory performance. Candidates
have good prospects of growth in the company.
Candidates who are working with Government Department/bodies and PSUs may not apply on
contract basis unless they are willing to resign from their present organization and work on
contract basis.

Selection process:-
Shortlisting of applications received on-line, will be done and only suitable deserving candidates
will be contacted for obtaining consent and projecting CV against upcoming project(s).

1. Interested candidates fulfilling the above laid down eligibility criteria are required to apply
online in the registration format available in the CAREER Section of the RITES website
http://www.rites.com on or before 1700 hrs within 30 days from the date of publication
of this advertisement i.e upto 28.11.2013.
2. While submitting the online application, the system would generate ‘Registration No.’ on
the top of such filled online form. Besides filling up required particulars in the application
format, candidates are also required to upload their photograph, signature and CV in
scanned/ms word format (as per format of CV given below) and copies of testimonials.
A copy of this form containing the registration number is to be printed, signed and
furnished alongwith signed copy of CV, attested copies of educational experience
certificates and 2 recent passport size colour photographs to the AGM(P)/Rectt., RITES
Ltd., RITES Bhawan, Plot No.1, Sector-29, Gurgaon – 122001 and sent through
post so as to reach him definitely by 6.12.2013. Candidates whose physical
application along with aforesaid documents is not received by the due date, will
not be considered for shortlisting.
3. Interested candidates will be required to submit their letter of intent alongiwth detailed
CV (strictly in the prescribed format) for projecting their CVs in upcoming domestic and
international Highway projects. This will be obtained from the candidate before fielding
CV in any specific upcoming highway project.
Notes:
a) Any kind of training/trainer/apprenticeship experience shall not be counted towards
post qualification experience.
b) Candidates already working in RITES on contract basis in an equal position are not
eligible.
c) Applications incomplete in any aspect (category certificate, educational qualification
certificate etc.) shall be summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence
regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates
are required to submit along with their applications, certificates in support of their

applicable labour laws and government clearances, QA/QC plans on site work
JOB DESCRIPTIO :
1. Monitoring civil construction – Surveying and leveling.
2. Installation and commissioning of equipments preferably X ray equipments.
3. Safety precautions/corrective actions to be taken..
4. Submission of daily progress at site.
5. Inspection of materials received at site.

• Age: Less than 25 Yrs as on 01.09.2013.
• Reservation: Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per Govt
rules.
• Remuneration: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 15,000/- per
month.
• Period of contract: One year from the date of joining, however the same may be
extended depending on the progress of the project and performance of the
candidate.
• Method of Selection: Selection will be through written test (objectives type
questions) and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Selected
candidates have to execute a bond to serve minimum period of one year
• Candidates who have not completed BE / B Tech. need not apply. Those who are
unable to produce their Degree marks cards and certificates in original on the day
of the written test / interview for whatever reason will not be considered.
• Local candidates with knowledge of local language will be preferred. Only Indian
Nationals need to apply.
• Candidates meeting the above criteria should mail the filled in application format

• The list of candidates shortlisted for written test/interview will be published in
BEL website
o TA DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview. BEL reserves the
