Scholarship Details No. of GOI Fellowships: FIVE (5) The selected Indian candidates will be awarded a Government of India fellowship initially for one year only and is extendable for one more year on genuine case. Each eligible candidate will be awarded the Government of India fellowship @ ` 50,000/- per month. Eligible foreign candidates may also apply for the Government of India Post Doctoral Fellowship for consideration. Women candidates are encouraged to apply. Eligibility Criteria Candidates having Ph.D. degree in Population Studies of a recognised university. Good publication in peer reviewed journal, publication of books and research reports. The upper age limit is 40 years as on 30.6.2014. Availability of Application Form: Prescribed application form and information can be obtained from the Assistant Registrar (Academic), International Institute for Population Sciences, Deonar, Mumbai-400 088 in person or by sending a self addressed Rs.50/- stamped envelope (25cm x 12cm) on or before 30th May, 2014. Important Date: The completed application form along with necessary enclosures and a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.500/- by Demand Draft, drawn from any nationalised Bank in favour of the Director, IIPS, Mumbai, should reach the Assistant Registrar (Academic) on or before 2nd June, 2014. All candidates MUST attach two reference letters from two referees other than relatives who are in a position to give information about them and their work. The processing fee may also be paid by cash at the cash counter and the cash receipt should be attached along with the completed application set.
