Qualifications: The candidates should be M.Sc., or MS in Physical Sciences in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA / CPI grading of a minimum of 6.5 on a 10 scale at the Master’s Degree level with pre eligibility qualification at Graduate level should also be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA / CPI grading of a minimum of 6.5 on a 10 scale, and Ph. D degree in Physics / Space Physics / Atmospheric Sciences / Meteorology from a recognized university / institution and Post Doctoral experience in the following research areas with a good number of peer reviewed publications demonstrating the same.
Age limit: Not exceeding 40 years as on 30.04.2014.
