Junior Research FellowApplications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for the three (3) post of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) under the research project titled. The position is for a period of three years and purely on temporary basis and will be terminated on completion of the project.

Fellowship Details
  • Project Title - “Role of insect pollinations on the conservation of the major mangrove species in Sunderban Islands, West Bengal”.
  • Funding Agency : Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India
  • Tenure of the Project : Three years
  • Position : Junior Research Fellow
  • Desirable: Experience of working in aquatic environment swimming, knowledge of Computer and basic field data collection.
  • Stipend : Rs. 16,000/- p.m + 30% HRA
  • Upper age limit: 28 yrs. On the date of the interview.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Master degree in Zoology, Environmental Sciences or Equivalent from a recognised University with minimum 55% marks.
